I know, it's been ages.

Having to move all the fabric and what not consumed a LOT of time. Almost done with that. Still looking for my iron..

Just wanted to let you know a cabbage hasn't fallen on my head and killed me. Not yet anyway. I've heard they travel in gangs so I try and stay clear.

Still struggling with the photos and you'll note the absence of binding. Binding is such a chore I tend to leave it until the end. Then I bind a few at a time. The floral is the backing which is this super soft flannel I bought like, ten yards of. At some time, at some place.

I haven't really begun to sort through the fabric stash. Found a trunk full of stuff that well, I thought was an empty trunk. Then there are the drawers fullof quarter and half yards.

The cool thing is I found a couple small quilts that just (ha) need to be set up and quilted. Plus the quilt that is half finished that I was making for Gabriel when he was two.

He's nine now.

So what's the deal?

Second shop, not open yet. Lots of stuff to make first. Lots of ideas.

Any photo tips for small quilts much appreciated. I'm hoping to open up the End of Summer. It will be mostly small quilts, blankets, stuffies and those great unbleached tea towels, those rock. The kid's custom art of course.

Still trying to work out a schedule. Anyone want to come over and help?

Baby quilt

Boy these are a bitch to photograph. Made with love, photographed with a building sense of frustration. That's going to be a fun process. Anyhow, here is the first. You probably want measurements.
